It was late, almost midnight and dark outside

...and unexpectedly, a tap at the door almost a scratch, so quiet thought i had imagined it - then the doorbell rang and the phone and doorbell rang at the same time then silence for a moment, then the doorbell and phone kept ringing, again silence then finally heard a car drive away but only a little way up the lane then the phone rang again

though very scared, picked up - a small cross voice:
"Its the pizza delivery man"

Button, Barrichello and all the team - you are legends and the Dark Blues and England football team

Well done - is that a hat trick?

Happy St Patricks Day

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman were stranded on a little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and one day they found a magic lamp. When they rubbed it. a genie appeared and granted them each any one wish they desired. 'I'd like to be back in London.' said The Englishman and he was whisked back to London. 'I'd like to be back in Glasgow,' said The Scotsman and he too was whisked away. 'I'm very lonely here all on my own,' said The Irishman, 'I wish my friends were back again.'

Mansion Market

im impressed.. lots of great things being sold today by local crafts people in different rooms in Kidbrooke Mansion. During the week this is a Rudolf Steiner school.. maybe the best thing was the relaxed atmosphere and interesting people. Next one is 9th May - especially liked .. small felt animals and trolls, sushi, handmade chocolates and puppet shows .. also books, bags and beautiful clothes for bigger sizes

Taiwan's blog

Found 'Interview Me' - from Taiwan looking for cherry blossom festivals - sakura - an omen of good fortune, love, affection and the coming of spring.

Interesting links about paradise fish that eat mosquitos and how the hair cutting business in Taiwan is called “golden bowl,” an old Chinese term, meaning there will always be a continuous flow of income..and about Steve Chen, the co-founder of You Tube. In the beginnings, it seems he had to give up his dreams of education for the work field, living off of credit cards, and started a business in a silicon valley garage

Sometimes stressing down, is just not going to happen, its like telling a charging rhinosuraus - take five minutes out - maybe it just needs to run around to feel better, and some chocolate

Marrocco’s

8 Kings Esplanade, Hove seafront - Wonderful place to go at the end of a walk along the seafront for most sundae dreaming sunday strollers. Frothy Italian expresso and ice creams to take away. Wide pavements along the beach for rollar blading beside the smarty colored beach huts

Eco Build

Visited Eco Build at Olympia www.ecobuild.co.uk - the layout brought back memories of the Ideal Home Show - (mile upon mile of show stands and some free things). Very impressed by all the green possibilities, especially green roofs - planted with sedums not just grass. Entrance to Eco Build was free and many conferences and seminars www.eco.co.uk

Fuzzy orange ball

Noticed the sun looked like a large fuzzy orange ball as it was setting low in the sky late afternoon.. the sort of sun that might have been in the sky of an impressionist painting.
