Falling stars

Very sleepy today, stayed up fo a while and saw three but meant to be over 80 passing an hour. Most magical thing. Last night was little tricky to see after midnight because of a bright moon thou best time is before dawn. Plenty of planes too, wondered about them flying in a sky full of small hurtling space rocks. Huge night sky filled with stars.

Buckingham Palace

Walked past Buckingham Palace yesterday and the excitement of the capital city and landmarks was huge but think the noise of the traffic must drive them nuts. Loved seeing the shiny big hotels like Park Lane and Mayfair with immaculate doormen in top hats and buildings with flowers growing vertically down the walls - all the places from the Monopoly Board. Wish could travel maybe on a 'duck tour' into the Thames or watch an outdoor play in Regents Park or Shakespeares' Globe beside the river as the sun goes down but it was also nice to jump on the train and leave the dusty city behind and go home

Bubble and Squeak

Hankering for some bubble and squeak, havn't eaten this for long time. Used home grown cooked curly kale and new potatos and thought about adding some onions.. fried it all (oops) until potatos were crispy and added plenty of tomato sauce and listened to the rain fall

Its comfort food, a little like Pytt i panna
For meat eaters, Coco Cooks adds elk meat.. for me, think its nicer to see them in the wild and not in the pot
