F1 Suzuka Circuit Japan

love this sport but wonder if older circuits like this one in Japan could be made safer - the gravel run off areas made bigger before 2010 and maybe roll back to a one hour qualifying session, less stress for the drivers so maybe less accidents - it is terrifying to see head on collisions into walls, dont want to watch drivers being smashed up
